Mr COWDREY House of Assembly Colton Mr COWDREY: Prior to the election, Labor said it would cut and save nearly $41 million by axing 50 executive positions within the Department of the Premier and Cabinet, a key target for the job cuts. Yes, we said that there would be 50 full-time equivalent positions cut, but we didn't say that they would all be cut from the Department of the Premier and Cabinet. What we said was that they would be cut from across government agencies, and the advice that I have is that we have successfully implemented that.
