Is the Electoral Commissioner investigating the 2022 local government periodic elections for voter fraud and, if so, has the minister received a briefing on the progress of this investigation? BROCK (Stuart—Minister for Local Government, Minister for Regional Roads, Minister for Veterans Affairs) (14:46): I thank the member for Flinders for his question. As he is very well aware, the Electoral Commissioner is independent of the parliament itself and the government. However, I am aware that the Electoral Commissioner is doing a review of the whole local government elections from 2022. I have made a commitment in this house here that we, as the minister, through the Office of Local Government, will do a review also. I have made that quite clear in this house here on numerous occasions. But further to the question, I have had no communication from the Electoral Commissioner regarding his review at this stage. I am waiting for a report.
