          <inserted>The identification and planning of growth areas is being considered as part of the regional planning program (program), under the Planning, Development and Infrastructure Act 2016. </inserted>

          <inserted>The program will be delivered over the next two years and includes the preparation of six regional plans outside of Greater Adelaide and a new 30-year plan for the metropolitan area. </inserted>
        </text>

          <inserted>The governance framework for the program outlines the probity requirements for the management of confidential information (which includes when external stakeholders will be engaged) as well the management of conflicts of interest.</inserted>
        </text>

          <inserted>It establishes a high standard for managing conflicts of interest by staff or third-party contractors engaged to work on the program, including declaration of any conflicts by contractors when engaged to undertake work. </inserted>

          <inserted>It also requires deeds of confidentiality to be signed where staff or other entities have access to confidential information, particularly in relation to land that may be considered as part of growth planning investigations as part of the regional plans. </inserted>
