SZAKACS (Cheltenham—Minister for Police, Emergency Services and Correctional Services):</by>  Presented a petition signed by 609 residents of South Australia requesting the house to urge the government to take immediate action to redefine electric personal mobility devices in law into their own class of vehicle so they can be policed fairly and introduce new legislation which allows them to operate on and around public thoroughfares safely and legally, so that they can coexist with existing traffic.</text>
