SPEIRS: On 16 February 2022, the now Deputy Premier said, and I quote: What we will do in Government is change the legislation…and Labor has absolutely no intention of knocking over any state heritage place, but in order to change the rules for the future we would ensure that there would be required public consultation on that…and that the State Heritage Council would be able to make a report on the impact, and that that would be public…so that's our policy.
