S.E. CLOSE (Port Adelaide—Deputy Premier, Minister for Industry, Innovation and Science, Minister for Defence and Space Industries, Minister for Climate, Environment and Water): I have been advised: The $1.9 million over two years to acquire and restore includes both the purchase price of the portion of Field River Valley which was formerly privately owned ($1,350,000), and the operating initiatives following acquisition ($500,000). The operating initiatives involve planning and restoration works largely led by Green Adelaide, who are working alongside community and project partners to ensure Field River is appropriately managed and protected. The Field River Restoration Plan, which is currently under development, will be a key driver of this work.
