CHAMPION (Taylor—Minister for Trade and Investment, Minister for Housing and Urban Development, Minister for Planning):</by>  I can advise that a part of its election commitments, the government has announced a significant community infrastructure program, whereby a number of councils will benefit from receiving funding to support over 30 projects. These projects will enable councils and local organisations to deliver improved services and facilities that improve access to high quality open spaces.</inserted>

          <inserted>Further, the government also made an election commitment to allocate a minimum of 10 per cent of contributions into the fund to support councils with acquiring land for future open space, including pocket parks. The 2022-23 Open Space Grant Program will be established to deliver on this initiative.</inserted>
