MICHAELS (Enfield—Minister for Small and Family Business, Minister for Consumer and Business Affairs, Minister for Arts): I have been advised: Whilst chief executives have flexibility to deliver operating efficiencies in a manner that best suits the needs of the agency and the government's priorities, the department is committed to funding at least $850,000 towards its Contemporary Music Program which is supported by the Community Development Fund established under the Gaming Machines Act 1992. The current budget allocation for the 2022-23 financial year to support the annual competitive grant programs through the Music Development Office is as follows: 2022/23 Budget Live Music Events Fund 550,000 Robert Stigwood Fellowship Program* 300,000 Organisations Funding* 450,000 Project support grants 240,000 * Funding support via the Community Development Fund established under the Gaming Machines Act, 1992.
