PICTON (Kaurna—Minister for Health and Wellbeing): I have been advised: Departments and agencies are provided with general discretion for the construct of the detailed level budget required to deliver on their outcomes. This includes the consultant and/or contractor budget required in any year. Consequently, the total for consultants and contractors budgeted to be incurred in 2022-23 cannot be provided at this time. For your reference, actual consultant and contractor expenditure incurred in any year is required to be published annually as part of the disclosures within the statutory financial statements. This will be available when the Auditor-General submits his report to parliament.
