The increase in the budgeted receipts from $270,000 in 2021-22 to $1.045 million in 2022-23 is predominantly due to ESCOSA undertaking the new statutory requirement relating to the provision of advice on the appropriateness of amendments to, and revenue sources for, local council's long-term financial, infrastructure and asset management plans.</inserted>

          <inserted>All costs, including set-up costs in the order of $473,000 in 2021-22, will be fully recovered from local councils, with invoicing beginning in 2022-23.</inserted>
