MAHER (Minister for Aboriginal Affairs, Attorney-General, Minister for Industrial Relations and Public Sector): I have been advised: The Department for Education has begun discussions with Tauondi about support for transition to a sustainable operating model and the process to transfer the property. The aim is to have the transfer complete by mid-2023, allowing for due diligence and approval by cabinet. A budget acknowledgment of $8 million was made in the 2022-23 state budget reflecting the estimated valuation of the site.
