          <inserted>The Crown Solicitor's Office represents the Chief Executive of the Department for Child Protection, ("the department"), in applications to the Youth Court seeking care and protection orders, applications to transfer an existing guardianship order from the chief executive to another person (usually the child's current foster parent) and applications to revoke existing guardianship or custody orders. </inserted>
