          <inserted>As previously noted, one piece of legislation has already commenced. The Statutes Amendment (Child Sexual Abuse) Act 2021 passed the parliament on 1 December 2021 and was assented to by the Governor in Executive Council on 9 December 2021. It recently commenced operation on 1 June 2022. </inserted>

          <inserted>The Civil Liability (Institutional Child Abuse Liability) Amendment Act 2021 passed the parliament on 30 November 2021 and was also assented to by the Governor in Executive Council on 9 December 2021. Further consultation on the commencement of this act has concluded and this act also commenced on 1 August 2022. </inserted>
