          <inserted>(a)&amp;#x9;For the period of 1 January 2021 to 30 September 2021, there were 35 shifts or a portion of a shift that were impacted due to the inability to meet required staffing levels. </inserted>
        </text>

          <inserted>(b)&amp;#x9;On six occasions staff members worked two consecutive active ambulance shifts (not on-call shifts) to satisfy required staffing levels. On 65 occasions, staff performed an active overtime shift during the day, which is followed by the on-call shift overnight, also at overtime rates. </inserted>
