          <inserted>Tourism job figures are reported yearly. The latest tourism jobs figures for South Australia are from June 2020, which indicated a decline of 0.3 per cent in direct tourism jobs to 40,400, compared to June 2019.</inserted>

          <inserted>This relatively minor decline is due to JobKeeper support and the fact that it was in the early stages of the pandemic.</inserted>

          <inserted>The SATC anticipates that the job losses in the industry will be more significant through to June 2021. It is anticipated that the 2021 results will be available in December 2021.</inserted>
