<inserted>When the QR code system was first built, it was developed as a rapid pandemic response measure. The speed required to get a solution, required the focus on building a secure and robust QR code system itself rather than in a wide array of languages. Communications around the QR code check in is led by SAPOL. The QR code is not being transferred into other languages as it would be impractical to do so. Over the past several months, SA Health has included messaging about QR codes in its presentations to multicultural communities as part of the 'Continue COVID Safe behaviours'.</inserted>
