MARSHALL (Dunstan—Premier): I have been advised: The Department for Innovation and Skills has been working on accurately measuring and classifying creative businesses, including Arts businesses in South Australia. There are 1800 non-employing (sole trader) businesses in South Australia that have been identified in the following sectors under the Australian and New Zealand Standard Industrial Classification (ANZSIC) classes: Literature and Publishing Independent Creatives Music and Performing Arts Visual Arts and Craft It must be noted that creative businesses in these categories are not necessarily artists. It is likely that most are artists, but not all.
