          <inserted>In March 2020, as part of its second economic stimulus package, the government announced the establishment of a $300 million Business and Jobs Support Fund. The government subsequently added a further $230 million to the fund, bringing the total value of the Business and Jobs Support Fund to $530 million.</inserted>

          <inserted>The Business and Jobs Support Fund assists individual businesses and industry sectors facing potential collapse and the loss of thousands of jobs due to the ongoing impacts of COVID-19 and necessary restrictions to limit its spread.</inserted>

          <inserted>As at 31 March 2021, $517.6 million of funding has been committed from the Business and Jobs Support Fund. This leaves a remaining provision for future initiatives of $12.4 million The 2020-21 Budget Measures Statement (pages 7 and 8) provides a comprehensive breakdown of the $510.3 million committed from the Business and Jobs Support Fund at the time of the budget.</inserted>
