Mr MALINAUSKAS House of Assembly Mr MALINAUSKAS: On 27 November 2018, the Premier told this house in answer to a question about bed closures, and I quote: The reality is that all hospitals should have some flex capacity, but we certainly shouldn't be keeping hospital beds open when there is no requirement for them.
