<by role="member" id="4343">The Hon. J.A.W. GARDNER:</by> Communicating with parents is something that school principals do on a regular basis. They do so at the beginning of term. One of the complications we had in some areas in the first week of school was that there was a bushfire risk, as I recall, that had some sites closed. So they struggled in some schools, but the majority of our schools that were in one of those red zones were able to communicate with families, and the quality of those communications has only improved over the last several weeks. Indeed, I think that any member of the community has seen the public advertising, and schools that are in those red zones were provided with information that's entirely relevant to their school communities.</text>
