          <inserted>The Early Intervention Research Directorate has taken the following steps to provide a more coherent preventative and early intervention approach:</inserted>
        </text>

          <inserted>1.&amp;#x9;Analysis of data and the evidence base to identify target populations and design service models that respond to the needs of these population groups.</inserted>
        </text>
        <text id="202102023aa3560a90554532a0001352">
          <inserted>2.&amp;#x9;A significant co-design process, as documented in the 2019 Co-Design Report.</inserted>
        </text>
        <text id="202102023aa3560a90554532a0001353">
          <inserted>3.&amp;#x9;Created a lived experience network and an Aboriginal leadership group.</inserted>
        </text>
        <text id="202102023aa3560a90554532a0001354">
          <inserted>4.&amp;#x9;Commenced recommissioning of intensive family support services delivered by the non-government sector.</inserted>
        </text>

          <inserted>5.&amp;#x9;Reconfigured services delivered through DHS' Safer Family Services to target priority populations and better respond to complexity.</inserted>
        </text>

          <inserted>6.&amp;#x9;Commenced the development of a 'new front door' to the service system that offers earlier advice and support for families.</inserted>

          <inserted>7.&amp;#x9;Established Child and Family Safety Networks across 10 new regional sites.</inserted>
        </text>

          <inserted>8.&amp;#x9;Taken steps to develop the capability and capacity of the sector.</inserted>

          <inserted>9.&amp;#x9;Creating evidence-informed service models that are aligned with the complexity of the families in the system.</inserted>

          <inserted>10.&amp;#x9;Established pilot programs including evaluation.</inserted>

          <inserted>11.&amp;#x9;Working towards the creation of an intelligent information environment for the Child and Family Support System (outcomes, monitoring and reporting).</inserted>
