Did you tell the country members gathered at a dinner at the Cathedral Hotel who are subject to an ICAC corruption investigation that you, as Speaker, if elected, would support the claim of parliamentary privilege on documents ICAC had lawfully instructed them to provide?</text>

The question remains outside the purview of standing order 96 subparagraph 2 and is out of order. I will turn now to the government, and the opposition may have another opportunity. I won't say more about it, except to say that the subject matter was essentially repeated following a ruling yesterday. I won't rule in that regard directly, but I note that fact. Is there a question from the government?</text>
