As I indicated last time, I have some friends who have been personally involved with safe access into these clinics. It has been traumatic enough for them to make that decision at the start without having to be confronted by people outside these clinics actually putting more pressure on them.</text>
<text id="20200722d2ad4bfc258442f580000080">There are a lot of things I could say, but I do support this bill. I also support the right of young women to make the ultimate decision in regard to these things. As I said, the decisions made sometimes come back, but it is a decision they are making at that particular time. If anything, I would rather see far more services for young women to enable them to have some direct consultation, some commitment, to talk about these issues.</text>

<text id="20200722d2ad4bfc258442f580000081">Unfortunately, these things have been happening for many, many years and they will continue to happen, but I do support this bill. I also support the decision that these young women ultimately make. As I said, I have had personal friends who have come to that. I want to reiterate that a lot of people have said to me, 'Why is this bill happening when the fact is nothing has ever eventuated?' but this is to prevent this happening in the future so, again, I support the bill.</text>
