          <by role="member" id="3124">The Hon. D.G. PISONI:</by>  When I said I wasn't briefed, I was referring to a formal brief, when something comes across your desk and you sign it off. Positions of employment on the CITB are purely a matter for the board. The board makes that decision. I have no power to make that decision. However, there is a provision in the act that I can direct an outcome from the board. I didn't do that. The board appointed Mr Derek Clark and it was a decision of the board.</text>
