          <inserted>1,230 informal cautions were issued by South Australia Police (SAPOL) to young people between July 2009 and June 2019. </inserted>

          <inserted>Due to South Australia Police (SAPOL) system constraints prior to the implementation of SHIELD, SAPOL does not have the number of Aboriginal youth informally cautioned prior to November 2018. SAPOL can advise that 46 informal cautions were issued from November 2018 to June 2019 and of those, four were issued to Aboriginal young people.</inserted>
