From 1 July 2019 the South Australia Police and the Department of Planning, Transport and Infrastructure will be responsible for road safety activities. From 1 July 2019 the management of MAC's residual functions has been transferred to the South Australian Government Financing Authority. MAC's ongoing costs over the financial years 2019-20 to 2022-23 have been estimated at $2.607 million covering contract governance and ongoing actuarial and financial reporting obligations.
