          <inserted>In December 2018, the state and Berkshire Hathaway's subsidiary national indemnity company (NICO) executed a deed of reinsurance and agency, operational deed and transitional services agreement which give effect to the transfer of MAC's back book to NICO.</inserted>

          <inserted>From 1 July 2019 the South Australia Police and the Department of Planning, Transport and Infrastructure will be responsible for road safety activities.</inserted>

          <inserted>From 1 July 2019 the management of MAC's residual functions has been transferred to the South Australian Government Financing Authority.</inserted>
