          <inserted>Civilian prosecutors and sworn police officers have different awards and employee entitlements and therefore do not have the same pay structure.</inserted>

          <inserted>Police prosecutors are classified at the Brevet Sergeant level and when taking into account on costs for superannuation, payroll tax and prosecutors allowance, have an annual cost of $121,700 (SAPOL Police Enterprise Agreement 2016 award for 2019-20).</inserted>

          <inserted>Civilian solicitors are classified at LEG3 level and when taking into account on costs for superannuation and payroll tax, have an annual cost of $111,900 (South Australian Modern Public Sector Enterprise Agreement: Salaried 2017 award for 2019-20).</inserted>
