Given that the Minister for Environment has told InDaily that he will not be subject to the new land tax aggregation measures, and the Treasurer has indicated that he would be, which minister is correct? MARSHALL House of Assembly The Hon. S.S. MARSHALL: We have made it very clear that we would like to see a reform with regard to land tax. This was an issue that had been raised with the previous government over a long period of time, but they were content to sweep this problem under the carpet, under the mat, out of sight, out of mind, and preside over the highest marginal rate of land tax in the entire country. This was helping to make South Australia an unattractive place for investment. We are working through the mess that we inherited from those opposite.
