SANDERSON (Adelaide—Minister for Child Protection): I have been advised: DCP policy and practice guidance, including the publicly available document, 'Who can say ok? Making decisions about children in care', state that a carer can provide consent for immunisations, including through a child's participation in school vaccination programs. DCP case workers are available to provide advice and assistance based on medical information contained in a child's case file.
