Additionally, departmental practice guidance advises DCP case workers to liaise with residential and commercial care facilities to ensure that children in these care arrangements receive immunisations in accordance with the National Immunisation Program (South Australia Schedule), noting that this may include arranging a child's participation in school-based vaccination programs.
