          <inserted>The Premier was made aware on 2 October 2018, when State Opera South Australia submitted its 2017-18 Annual Report for tabling in state parliament. That report contained the Auditor-General's letter to the chair of 28 September 2018, which noted several weaknesses and areas requiring improvement in State Opera's financial controls, which had been raised in an audit management letter during the year.</inserted>
