          <inserted>Is the minister outsourcing the assessment of foster or kinship carers to a Victorian company, Assessments Australia, or any other private or non-government organisations?</inserted>
        </text>
        <text continued="true" id="20190604d863fcb0445144c0b0000674">I replied, 'No.' I believe this answer to be accurate because these care assessments were outsourced a number of years ago. In 2017, the member for Port Adelaide in the previous Labor government, as the minister for education and child development, committed this outsourcing to Assessments Australia. Neither I nor the government have taken any steps to change this arrangement.</text>
