Objection was taken by the representative of the Cheney family that direct contact had been made and that it should have been made via his office. I thought that in those circumstances it was reasonable that on this occasion—</text>

CHAPMAN:</by>  In fact, a letter was sent directly to his office to advise as to what was going to happen, particularly in light of the sensitivity of the matter. As a result of the direct request and confirmation that this particular lawyer was still representing the Cheney family and expected that he should be contacted in relation to matters, we accorded to those wishes.</text>
