          <inserted>Pursuant to section 110A(2) of the <term>Children and Young People (Safety) Act 2017 </term>(CYPS Act)<term></term>and regulation 34 of the Children and Young People (Safety) Regulations 2017 (CYPS Regulations), persons working in residential facilities established under the <term>Family and Community Services Act 1972</term> who are not employees of the Department for Child Protection (i.e. NGO and commercial care staff and volunteers) will be required to undergo psychological assessment by 6 September 2019. </inserted>

          <inserted>Pursuant to section 107 of the CYPS Act and regulation 31 of the CYPS Regulations persons employed in a licensed children's residential facility are required to undergo a psychological assessment by 22 April 2020.</inserted>
