The community have made it clear they want under/overpasses included in the Main South Road Duplication from Seaford to Sellicks. This has been discussed at meetings with the minister and submitted in writing by the Main South Road Action Group. Can the Minister provide an update on what is proposed for the major intersections? KNOLL (Schubert—Minister for Transport, Infrastructure and Local Government, Minister for Planning): I have been advised of the following- The Department of Planning, Transport and Infrastructure is progressing with the detailed planning required for this project. The planning will provide a better understanding of the timeline and extent of each stage, as well as provide clarity on the treatments with intersecting roads and provisions for pedestrians and cyclists. Planning will provide recommended treatments for the major intersections with consideration of the road function, safety and accessibility to adjacent properties. Direct liaison with the community will be a strong focus throughout the planning and delivery for this project including the Main South Road Action Group. At this point in time, the contact for the Main South Road Action Group will be the Manager Infrastructure Planning and Investment, Mr Scott Cooper.
