WINGARD (Gibson—Minister for Police, Emergency Services and Correctional Services, Minister for Recreation, Sport and Racing) (13:51):</by> I thank the member for the question. I think I outlined in my ministerial statement, and potentially in previous answers, that the department brought in a number of staff and increased their capacity. They increased their redundancies around face-to-face contact and telephone contact. So there was an increase in the number of units on the road and an increase in the number of phone calls that were made. Don't quote me on this figure, but I'm led to believe it is something in the order of 700-plus phone calls and between 300 and 400 physical visits. I can get that exact number back to you—</text>

<by role="member" id="4843">The Hon. C.L. WINGARD:</by> —but that was the increase in resources that they threw at this. It was significant and, again, the team did an outstanding job to bring that redundancy in place of the technical capabilities that were not there. I have already outlined that we're doing that procurement work to grow that redundancy in the technical side.</text>
