SANDERSON (Adelaide—Minister for Child Protection): I have been advised of the following As at 11 October 2018, of the 76 facilities operated by the Department for Child Protection the following can be reported: All Shifts—Single All Shifts—Double up Mixed Model 34 6 36 It should be noted that shift configuration is based upon: The complexity of children and young people's needs in each facility; The number of children and young people in a facility; The immediate operational situations which are unplanned; The requirements of children and young people; and Assessing risks and safety as they relate to specific situations.
