Has the minister received any advice from his agency, or any external agency, that the government's decision to privatise or lease the government's emergency generators will have any impact on the construction of the solar thermal plant at Port Augusta, and its capacity, and AGL's project of Barker Inlet at Torrens Island?</text>

VAN HOLST PELLEKAAN (Stuart—Minister for Energy and Mining) (15:04):</by>  Just to be really clear, have I received advice from my agency that our intention to lease the diesel generators will have an impact on SolarReserve or AGL continuing with their solar thermal plant at Port Augusta or the Barker Inlet stage 1? Is that the question? No, I don't think I have. I will check. Because, like the former minister for energy used to do, a question like that does deserve checking in case there's something like that rattling around in the background that you haven't seen or are not aware of or don't remember. No, I do not think so. I will check and if my answer is incorrect I will advise the house.</text>
