PISONI (Unley—Minister for Industry and Skills) (14:58):</by>  The government is delivering nearly $200 million—$50 million a year—into skills training here in South Australia, something that was completely neglected. This morning, the member for Ramsay gave a speech about how they had been supporting women apprentices. How? There was a 60 per cent drop in commencements. They are in fantasy land.</text>

You hand out money, just enough to get them to their next meal, and then they need you again. We are about empowering people to live their own lives. That's why we are investing $50 million a year—$200 million over the next four years—to train South Australians to take full advantage of the gift that was given to this state by the federal government.</text>
