J.R. RAU (Enfield—Deputy Premier, Attorney-General, Minister for Justice Reform, Minister for Planning, Minister for Industrial Relations, Minister for Child Protection Reform, Minister for the Public Sector, Minister for Consumer and Business Services, Minister for the City of Adelaide): I have been provided the following advice: There has not been a $1 million allocation from the P&D Fund for the review of the 30 Year Plan. The Departmental costs in implementing the 30 Year Plan for Greater Adelaide are paid from the Planning and Development Fund in the amount of $1 million per year. This funding arrangement was introduced in 2011-12. The use of the P&D Fund to support the implementation of the Planning Strategy is one of the prescribed uses under Section 111 of the Development Regulations 2008. No consultancies or external work was funded for the 30-Year Plan Review in 2015-16. The full $1 million was paid to the department in 2015/16 and this annual payment arrangement will continue to apply in 2016/17. The amount spent on the recent 30-Year Plan for Greater Adelaide Update has been $163,085. This included funding of a full engagement program, which has involved a new web site, printing of a short form brochure and full long-form document, workshops with council's, industry groups and planning practitioners.
