J.R. RAU (Enfield—Deputy Premier, Attorney-General, Minister for Justice Reform, Minister for Planning, Minister for Industrial Relations, Minister for Child Protection Reform, Minister for the Public Sector, Minister for Consumer and Business Services, Minister for the City of Adelaide): I have been advised: The relevant union organisations in regard to the Plumbing, Metal and Building Trades, Ambulance, Nurses and Midwives, Visiting Medical Specialists, Rail Commissioner (Maintenance), Rail Commissioner (Rail Operations and Infrastructure) Agreements and Adelaide Venue Management have been advised that as negotiations had commenced prior to the 2016/17 state budget for these agreements the 2.5% limit on future wage growth would apply. Whilst the SA Ambulance Service Agreement 2011 nominally expired on 3 February 2015 it remains in force, pursuant to section 83 of the Fair Work Act 1994, until it is superseded by a new agreement or rescinded.
