BROCK (Frome—Minister for Regional Development, Minister for Local Government):</by>  Presented a petition signed by 602 residents of the southern Flinders Ranges and greater South Australia requesting the house to urge the government to initiate an urgent ministerial development plan amendment that immediately makes windfarms a 'non-complying' development in valuable environmental and scenic areas including the Flinders Ranges, Clare Valley, Fleurieu Peninsula, Barossa Valley, McLaren Vale, coast and state coastal waters, conservation zones and the River Murray corridor; and provides a minimum three-kilometre separation distance between turbines and all dwellings in recognition of the substantial increase in size and acoustic output of wind turbines.</text>
