VLAHOS (Taylor—Minister for Disabilities, Minister for Mental Health and Substance Abuse) (14:57):</by>  As I have outlined in a number of answers today, when I became aware, with the community visitor's report and the family coming forward about the Spriggs case, that we needed to get answers from NALHN, we asked for a briefing. That process triggered a number of inquiries across the health system that have brought us to the point we are at today, to ensure that the people at the Oakden site, residents there who are frail and vulnerable and deeply confused because of their medical conditions, receive the appropriate level of care that they have going forward.</text>
        <text id="2017051092536e9a7de1415a80000685">I am focused on acting, as I always have been since becoming aware of this situation. When I became aware of the level of concern for this institution, that is the reason I triggered an independent review by the Chief Psychiatrist.</text>
