CLOSE (Port Adelaide—Minister for Education and Child Development, Minister for Higher Education and Skills): I have been advised: Of the staff without a current Child-related Employment Screening Check (CRESC) at the time of the Auditor-General's report: no Hourly Paid Instructors (HPIs) or permanent staff worked with students under the age of 18 no HPIs or permanent staff were involved in delivery of school-based apprenticeships. Staff working in school-based apprenticeship programs require a CRESC clearance by both TAFE SA and the Department for Education and Child Development.
