          <inserted>Based on a review of purchase card transactions, it has been identified that for the 2015-16 financial year $45,509.38 was identified as spent on entertainment, in accordance with the department's corporate and site entertainment policies. </inserted>

          <inserted>Spend associated with the purchase of alcohol falls under the provision of entertainment. A manual review identified three instances where alcohol was purchased for a total of $660.67. </inserted>

          <inserted>Further investigation identified that these purchases were approved in accordance with the department's policy and relate to entertainment provided by the department's International Education Unit to overseas guests.</inserted>
