J.R. RAU (Enfield—Deputy Premier, Attorney-General, Minister for Justice Reform, Minister for Planning, Minister for Industrial Relations, Minister for Child Protection Reform, Minister for the Public Sector, Minister for Consumer and Business Services, Minister for the City of Adelaide): I have been provided the following advice: Public Trustee monitors the implementation of actions that arise from the Auditor-General's observations. This monitoring is provided to the Public Trustee Audit and Risk Management Committee and provides reassurance that the actions that have arisen from previous audit reports have been either fully completed or substantially progressed. In the example of the sampling process, the number of batches that were being sampled were below the required level. The inadequate levels of sampling were rectified immediately upon audit bringing the problem to Public Trustee's attention. The sampling of batches is now occurring within defined levels and additional monthly reporting has been introduced to ensure that adequate sampling continues.
