          <inserted>The Unley and Pasadena high school governing councils have undertaken an extensive consultation process with their respective school communities in relation to the proposed merger. </inserted>
        </text>
        <text id="201702287b5ab6b6c89d4c8da0001248">
          <inserted>The Unley Governing Council made a commitment that at the end of the consultation process they would meet to consider feedback and make a decision whether to continue with the merger or not.</inserted>
        </text>

          <inserted>On 6 October 2016, the Unley High School Governing Council met and unanimously affirmed its commitment to the merger with Pasadena High School.</inserted>
        </text>

          <inserted>Pasadena High School undertook polling of their parent community regarding the merger early this term. The result was that the Pasadena High School community did not vote in favour of the proposed amalgamation.</inserted>
