VLAHOS (Taylor—Minister for Disabilities, Minister for Mental Health and Substance Abuse): I am advised: A person meets the disability requirements for the NDIS if they have a disability that is attributable to one or more intellectual, cognitive, neurological, sensory or physical impairments, or to one or more impairments attributable to a psychiatric condition that results in substantially reduced functional capacity and is likely to require support under the NDIS for the person's lifetime. There are no caps on the number of eligible children accepted into the scheme for a particular disability type.
