CLOSE (Port Adelaide—Minister for Education and Child Development, Minister for Higher Education and Skills) (15:05):</by> There was a report by the Ombudsman on the way in which complaint handling was undertaken. The department has taken on board all the recommendations and is working through them. I think the difficulty the department had been encountering was being able to ensure that the same level of information and detail was provided across all the nearly 1,000 sites, schools and preschools, that the department operates. The department has taken the Ombudsman's report very seriously and is in the process of ensuring that it is able to comply with all the recommendations.</text>
