CLOSE (Port Adelaide—Minister for Education and Child Development, Minister for Higher Education and Skills) (15:26):</by>  What we need to do is sit down with the remaining parents, and there are very few people who have enrolled for year 8 next year at this stage, something like four—understandably, because a lot of parents in the community would have assumed it was going to close. What we need to do is work not only with the school governing council as it is at present, and the leadership, but also with the community to start to get more interest in sending kids to the school.</text>

        <text id="201611164aeff6c5dc0d421380000574">We will work with them to make sure that the curriculum offerings are sufficiently broad, through open access and so on, and make sure that the community understands that the school is here to stay and that they should be considering it as the option for their children. They are the initial steps in what we will be doing to make sure that Pasadena returns to being a strong and stable school.</text>
